Graduates in classes L-25 (Ministerial Decree 270) and 20 (Ministerial Decree 509), as well as graduates in Agricultural Sciences, Forestry Sciences and equivalent subjects according to regulations prior to Ministerial Decree 509 with a degree obtained from any university, may access the master's degree course without having to fill any educational gaps.
Those who have another qualification in scientific disciplines (obtained in Italy or abroad) that is recognized as suitable (belonging to the classes L-13 - Biological Sciences; L-32 - Sciences and Technologies for the Environment and Nature; L-34 - Geological Sciences and L-7 - Civil and Environmental Engineering) may also access the programme, based on the verification of the exams taken.
The Admission Board will establish, on a case-by-case basis, the number of exams taken that are recognized as valid among those already acquired and any curricular integrations that are essential to access the master's degree course.

Admission to the course and recognition of the qualification obtained in another Italian or foreign university is in any case subject to the student's proficiency in English (equal to level B2 - listening comprehension). This level can be proven either by the presence in the three-year curriculum of at least 3 CFU of English language, or through the presentation of a certificate issued by an institution officially recognized by the MIM..
Admission to the course is also subject to the evaluation of the adequacy of the initial preparation of the candidate through an individual interview.
To enrol in a master’s programme at Unifi, you need to obtain the admission clearance ("nulla osta"), a document that states that you possess all the requirements indicated in the programme structure for your chosen master's degree.
This document can be obtained after the student's curriculum has been evaluated.

The Admission Board will examine and evaluate the application (usually within 30 days) to check if the applicants meet the admission requirements established in the programme description.
First intake: from 10 December 2025 to 6 February 2026, with results sent out by mid-March 2026
Second intake: from 16 February to 17 April 2026, with results sent out by mid-May 2026
Third intake (only for EU and EU-equated candidates): from 15 June to 31 August 2026, with results sent out by the end of September 2026
